ODE TO A POET
A thought runs across my mind,
followed quickly by another line.
Each line added a story to tell,
My mind overflowing an authors well.
The ideas that comes across, written down before their lost.
Thoughts racing from left to tight,
Penned down amid their flight.
For I’m a poet, and words I live,
To each a story, my pen will give
