A Magic Land

There is a land I drift to
When my life gets me down
A wondrous, magic place where only good things do abound
Within this land I suddenly find my problems don’t exist
It never fails to make me feel like I’ve been heaven kissed.
No sooner do I get there when they all come out to play
The fairies, elves and unicorns, loved ones who’ve passed away
We laugh and sing and dance about and always reminisce
The good times past that I’d forgot, that bring this poor heart bliss
A little bit of heaven does not accurately describe
How going there brings nothing but the best of positive vibes
My mom and dad come greet me though they’ve been gone for years
Their words of comfort, praise and love bring on such happy tears
They tell me life’s a journey to be savored to the max
And the highlight of this journey is performing loving acts
The angels too surround me
And engulf me in their love
If there’s a better way to feel
It’s one I’ve not heard of
On any given day I’ve had that’s been especially rough
They give me hugs and let me know enough is just enough
Tomorrow is another day to face life’s ups and downs
For now my worries, fears and stress need not at all be found
This place is filled with love and peace and feelings so serene
I know if I but close my eyes we’ll once again convene
