which part of
me
should i listen to
perhaps, none,bettter still
i should crawl back into the
darkness
from where i came
where i belong
looking out to the stars
for answers, never to be found
is there a point to all of all
this

madness,or is that the point
to feel the barb of pain
drain the blood from a
thousand wounds
untill ,the final death stab
to the heart
does it ever stop
how much
there has to be a limit
 no answers to be found
 that for another life time
hurting people seems to be my second
nature
leading me back to the
beginning
looking for the same old questions
the words getting thin
is there anything to say
why, do i hurt the ones
who want to  care
give me love
back to the darkness
i shall return
for i am
not of this place
no more creating pain  and suffering
adding to the hurt
time to take the trash
out where i belong,for
that is understood

I love the almost dizzying thought process that this poem takes the reader through. We all ask ourselves these questions at some point in our lives...

Stan,Your heart is good,Your words ring with the sting of reality...Shall you return...To where God saw the you that is good...or beyond, when you were but a beautiful sparkle in the great One's eye. Be Well Stan...try. Jen

Stan, deep, dark write. Lots of emotions and pain for someone.

what a haunted and raw write; but there is a strength in this.... .and anyone truly real will doubt themselves. ..this is deeply resonant and just keep your wits and your friends [and your passions] about you
blessings to you~

stan,
I spurn the things i need the most now. I want no more. I am getting a bit better every day, but I am still not ready to take my place in the real world. as depressed as i was, I did not give up, nor give in to the demons who wanted to take me with them for eternity. I will not, i can not, we are survivors bro....just give it some more time...

that first stanza (grouping) sets the whole tone of self-questioning in so short and well put words. I like how the space breaks and then you begin with "madness... Your an original poetic voice. And as to the question in the opening. I would LISTEN to the best part of you... being a musician, I've learned you can't create without listening. I hope to read more of you.

We need to know that we are fractured at birth. No one person can make this journey without needing glue. Once we find the glue to hold ourselves together, then we can walk without dropping any pieces. I pray that find your glue and continue on this journey. I was much happier when I realized I was not alone and that many people before me had made mistakes and had come back from the brink to do wonderful things for the people around them. God Bless and take care
regards,
Chris

I am sure that the woman at the well, that cared for you, will count yore feelings as another personal failure in her life! We all make mistakes, just learn from them and don't repeat them! You are a beautiful man, that has been hurt very badly, you need time to heal and then you will be ready to love again! Wishing You Happiness Always SC
