He spied it from afar in the distance; slowly drifting a single feather, floating, down Earth bound carried by a heavenly breath whispered it along finally resting softly in the shadows
In the morning dappled sunlight the western wind came alive lifting feather higher carried into night stardust sprinkled path of harmony bridged a borne a current of tranquil, beauty and truth there she did emerge gracefully she stood softly in the shadows
I am the stone standing silently whose face you have etched a heart that waits for your breath softly standing in the shadows Snassano 02-14-08

i swore i reviewed this....
i swaer i did....
i must have. .with all the feathers and stone references; how something so soft, so graceful [that feather] can change the 'face' of something so permanent, [that rock]. ..
all it needs is a little divinity and a little time. ..scratching the surface would only be the beginning...it could carve whole universes on the insides. ..a acavernous labyrinth of emotion and delicateness. ..
i swear i already commented on this.

"whose face you have etched..."
Beautiful sentiments expressed in this poem. There seems to be a hush in the air as I read it...as if all the world is standing softly-- waiting... in the shadows.
The stranger in the shadows has forever urged me to step a little into the dark and touch the face of the stranger as though I know his features.
Blessings and love,
Susan
How wisely you choose your words to paint a portrait filled with such love. You touch many lives through all that you do and those you touch will remember you always.....
I can't help but think how what we do effects others. The feather sounds like my soul - being lifted and allowed to land ever so gently. The stone is my heart that has been etched by those who have touched my life. This is how your poem inspired me.
