Muddy Tears

Been to three lakes
this morning, looking at all
those
muddy tears
traveling on
these empty roads
going to nowhere
windshield making loud noises
Hearing messages of love
over the sound of the
radio

Some day,someday
the dryness will begin
all these tears streaking down
this spotted windshield
grey S[ky] clearing
maybe, now
is the time to
begin

promises of falling stars. ... so open to readings...in that 'going to nowhere' could read 'going to now.here' if youre apt to play voodoo tricks like me. ..
and also the Ky [s]ky.... above all the l[aches]....and how if read softly, the windshield lines blur. ..."(making) loud noises
Hearing messages of (love)" but again, its my voodooness
and all that wetness of the first strophe in contrast to the coming dryness, the drought of the second. .. the desert.. ..but that alos reads that the desrt could bring about a new spring of tears. .. "the dryness will begin/ all these tears".....
begin

that tear.streaked image
to free itself....mon dieu~

I think I agree with Cryssa.. this is my new favorite of yours. For me it's the bayou and all the muddy tears that seem to flow inland and not out... and I wonder when or where I am to begin...
Great piece!

Oh... stunning bit of poetry...and muddy tears. It made me want to cry along with the grey sky, but then your poem ended with a resolution to stop the tears.
Maybe this is my new favorite of yours...
You are amazing.

Cryssa
