The pearlfisher of bottom fisher has little thought he she causes the holder of the treasure.

The painful soul!

Pain grows secret treasures

Of wisdom and beauty

In sealed lips,

When pried open,

Will kill their host;

Yet the diver does not want the wisdom,

But the beauty,

What gain but vanity?

A beauty ravaged by murder,

Murder of the soul,

Of its owner,

Worn by strangers,

That has none of their own!

Man always seems to cherish the beauty and discard the hard learned important wisdom. Excellent expose' of man's quest for beauty instead of wisdom.

Dark, but heartfelt, wise commentary, Jasmin. I find it true whether speaking of our care of the natural world of plants and animals, or speaking of our regard for humanity. Who was that villain? I fear it was us at our worst...Jerry

""Dark Cloud Of Remembrance" "
{Repost}

I am moving into this empty feeling…
On this dark cloud of remembrance
Emotions too damn intense to inspire verse
I came upon the contest of loving thoughts
As butterflies struggle in my naked chest tonight
Oh!! So painful…so bitterly raw
Trying to escape from deep within
The pinching pain of hurt and remembering
It crushed my heart by “loving”
It stole my spirit
And splattered the contents of my soul
Perfecting the torture… of true love
I tripped and stumbled along my way
Trying to be a perfect woman
Helped in every way I could
I almost overcame the fear of tomorrow
Appreciating the sacrifices made
Now caught between the ocean
And the vision from afar
I came upon the contest of my heart
Knowing the distance between us so very wide
I am moving in this darkness
On this dark cloud of remembering
Emotions way too intense to inspire happy verse
This poem the contest of loving thoughts
Became my biggest nightmare
Remembering now…everything I was told
The biggest lie ever…just remember this
Life crushed my heart
And stole my soul

I think you have summed up the plight of far too many nonhuman earthly creatures these very sad days, my friend.

And ... will this pained soul ever find rest? This speaks to my heart on many levels - abortion, embryo stem cell research - none of it good.

God bless you. Kathy
