Exigency when?
Political followers, are they not?
From smoking pot,
To antivivisection,
Not one, the courage got,
Not one, to give direction,
The political leaders and their score on,….
At best is an oxymoron,
For they follow the majority to get their votes,
And will go on and on, till yours are gone,
Then show, embellished quotes,
But real people, and important issues tall,
Forget the little guy, who not as all,
Running round in circles to boot,
Would like to make a different call,
His own darn horn would like to toot,
Important things like animal rights to me,
To stop cruelty to all creatures, would like to see,
As a toward step to enlightenment,
Bring attitudes new features,
There, they’re feet are in cement,
Issues such as poverty they shout,
Yet with all the years in office,
Leadership they flout,
From the other orifice,
Shits on this in congress shout,
Well there are really plenty more,
Anything intelligent original you see,
Every hundred years or more,
When comes to voting your concerns they flee,
With them they say, they could not score,
Sickness, veterans, and homelessness,
For the longest time a real mess,
Poor people suffering, millions,
But forgive, from real issues I digress,
First we have to give the crooks their billions,
How much longer bless your soul,
Before they make this country whole,
Or is all this just of nightmares dreams,
Why do I bother bare my soul,
To me, all this, cannot be real, so at least it seems.
