In the spirit of the season, Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon Mrs, Sprinkles Tingles,
How is Mr. Kringles?
Well at the moment he’s grooming his beard,
Come sit down dear; tell me all about yourself,
I’m glad you came, she said, you might be late, he feared,
But there you are and just in time Miss Elf,
You see there is plenty to do, presents to wrap and letters to write,
The reindeer need feeding, and the tingles need shining,
The brass to be polished so all looks bright,
The skis need aligning,
Dear me, there is so much to do, and the eve is so near,
Here you go Miss Elf,
Would you wrap this presents my dear,
Yes, those on the shelf,
The names dear sweet, are on the letters attached,
This tractor and fire engine,
Are with the names to be matched,
Ho< HO, Ho, there’s Mr. Kringles,
I call him Kriss,
You may call him Santa, that, his fancy tingles,
I always do, I never miss,
Rudolf, what are you doing in the house,
You go back to the barn and polish your nose,
I am scared; there is this little mouse,
Oh, that’s Timies, that’s what he for Christmas chose,
Now go tell the others to polish the hoofs, and don’t forget,
Rough them up a bit, so some traction you get,
And while you’re at it, polish the sled,
His nose started blinking, now Mrs. Santa said,
It won’t be long and you’ll soon be in bed,
It will be a long, long day, and you’ll be up all night,
Finish what you are doing and put out the light,
The elves are polishing the stars, so they’ll be nice and bright,
For you tomorrow, but just in case, put oil in the lamps to light the way,
You never know, it might snow that day, and skies might be cloudy come dark,
And don’t forget the sparkling sparks,
Santa, he listened and said, I would not know how I would survive, without you instead,
Now, now, you’re so kind so modest,
But surely you jest,
Laughter all around, and more presents to wrap,
When one heard this noise, tap, tap, and tap,
All looked at the door, and there he stood,
Just checking he said, he was made all out of wood,
Cracking nuts for children too small,
He just flew just in from the nutcrackers ball,
He sooooo, nice said Mrs, Santa, always makes time,
Never, did an invitation decline,
There was these little elves tasting the sweets,
Chocolates and all, and tiny treats,
You’re suppose to test them said Santa, to see if they’re sound,
You keep on eating them as you are; you’ll be like me, all big and round,
Red faces, and smiles, they’re just too sweet, said one, they do beguile,
Remember said one, with an elfish grin, when last year you had a wee too much gin,
And you got stuck in the chimney for a while ha, ha, ha,
Listen you brads, get done, it’s near twelve, tuck yourselves in,
But before you do, practice once more your falalalalalalalala,
You remember the song I hope, it goes, let me hear it,
Deck the Halls with balls and holly,
Dear old Santa is so jolly,
I see we got a wit,
All laughed and then went to bed,
For on that day, tomorrow night,
Under starry golden light,
They’ll all be, everyone, on that jolly and shiny old Christmas sled,
Ho, Ho, Ho,©09/12/2009
