I for happiness sake,
Wanted to share some more,
My heart and soul I walked,
As so many times before,
My pockets bulging,
With walnuts peanuts and the like,
Christmas presents so to speak,
For every little tyke,
Just barely out the door, I heard a caw,
He seen the shopping bag with meat,
Gifts from butchers down the street,
For my Ravens all a treat,
Between the calls of caw, caw, caw,
Flying overhead, they followed me,
Right into the woods,
Twenty did I see,
There I called my tiny friends,
Spread food upon the tree,
They surely know my voice,
For quickly they came by, to see,
And so on Christmas day,
In my glory sure I was,
With all my friends I am,
To do my favourite cause,
Tens upon my head and arm,
All I was, wings it grew,
Happy lightness did ensue,
One could sense they knew it too,
This one little tyke, she flew and sat,
On my hand and then,
And then, she sat, and sat, and didn’t move,
It seemed an hour when,
I said, her looking me over,
I’ll take you home if you like,
I know its cold out here,
It seemed she knew I might,
Liberty she choose, and flees,
But for a long eternity,
Our hearts and souls they met,
Just one with love to be,
Such gift, no money it can buy,
Priceless, so eternal true ,
Such bliss within our hearts,
This memory we knew,©27/12/2010

I don't blame her for not going home with you, I wouldn't want to live with you either, as the way you would feed, that little tyke wouldn't be little for long...;-)e
Happy New Year,
