A born sinner, or heavenly pornography?

I would not sin for ever more,
If sin, not be, such tempting chore,

 

 
 
 
 
Crying up to heavens door,
Naked cold and bare,
For someone there, some love to share,
I cry in desperation bold and sore,
 
Who laid me on this scale of life?
At first, when no one first there is,
Then, constantly make death such strife,
Knowing soon, the dirt I’ll kiss,
 
Make matters worse, gave me a mind,
Then a sinner you’d me call,
Struggle on and on, some peace to find,
That really takes some gall,
 
What’s the idea, might not one ask,
The exercise of such a drill,
To place on me to such wanton task,
Does it some higher ego fill?
 
Who asks me? Is it a tease?
Whose slave am I, and why?
She’ll sinfully me please,
No, I’d say and lie?
 
Would a question such as this,
Would to ask, you find unfair?
You knew, that Adam Eve would kiss,
Such pleasant sin, you’d make me heir,©

I'm not sure where this is going. I'll just say that sex is not sin, but a source of pleasure and life, not to be taken lightly, but not to be taken badly, either.

The Adam and Eve story is one way the church keeps the masses in line.

Very nice flow - we all think like this sometimes don't we? I particularly like the line "who laid me on this scale of life" - great metaphor.
