Christmas Day!
He came from the stars,
Naked as a baby,
Birthed by Mary his Mom,
Big times for some,
Besides his dad,
Stood followers of the stars,
In a manger for creatures,
That’s all they had,
The son of God, as some would say,
If God be all there be,
Stars and creatures all,
There in swaddling cloth he lay,
Innocent, he came, this baby being,
Like all of us entering this world,
But they surely new he was special
What were they in the scriptures seeing?
The baby son, son, of God, and creatures,
All was as it is,
Innocents and filled with love for all,
Always his best features,
Beyond the ordinary bounds,
Beyond the ordinary life,
Beyond all there is,
Beyond all chains and chatter sounds,
That’s what he gave us, Humanity,
More than we are and than,
In his innocents they made him God,
So all our might we’d see,
And so he said, you shall do, greater things than I,
And we thank him for it all,
On his this birthday,
Christmas day we’d call, that’s the reason why,©25/12/2016
