The Night is only for Strangers Two strangers at the crossroads Our paths become our moment Suddenly it’s over just when we got started Anyway you and I The dance like two ships pass at sea We’re at the oceans mercy Strangers we are you and I It can’t be over cause we hardly knew us The music and the wind like two lovers that cross Just two strangers dancing waiting for midnight to hold us As dawn draws near we kiss and hold tight knowing it’s over The night is only for strangers ©Dale Clark

Wistful and haunting, Dale Clark. So many times we touch fingers, exchange looks, see eyes.... and there is nothing more; but how wonderful when a connection is made occasionally, whether for only a moment or for longer. The night is conducive to this, isn't it!
