To all my friends here at AD: I want to apologize for not participating more but I've been dealing with some health issues. I appreciate all your support, always. I will try and catch up as I start to feel better! I stay positive!
Life is a carnival believe it or not Life is a carnival two bits a shot written by the Band Carnival She said life is a carnival great line I loved carnivals, still do I love the amusement parks A roller coaster still rocks My girlfriend and I used to go almost every night it was in town She and I broke up We went on to live our own lives Now she�s dead My hair is grey One year they had a double ferris wheel We got on and our wheel went to the top Suddenly it stopped and they had to work on it We were at the very top I said, hey we�re sittin on top of the world The lights shone for miles around us The stars above brushed our hearts We kissed and she held me tight We spooned among the cosmos We ate hot dogs, cotton candy It was a warm summers night We cooled off with snow cones We walked around listening to the barkers Step up kid, win your girl a teddy bear I threw darts and she carried a teddy home Life is a carnival two bits a shot �Dale Clark

Welcome home, Dale; you've been missed. I love carnivals (and fairs and amusement parks), too. I don't do the spinny rides much any more, and ferris wheels *cringe, I remember the double death trap*...ewwwwwwwwwwwwww...my twin loved to rock the seats, so needless to say, I'm not too fond of them. ('specially that high UP.) Now rollercoasters...you're talking my language (except the Mantis, stand up roller coaster....YIPE, that one like to have done me in). Bring it on, Babe! Fanstastic muse and write.

Oh Dale, this is so nostalgic to me!! Touched a spot from long ago! Not Carnival, but the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore. I understand everything you say. Yes, Life is like a Carnival. Excellent write, Dale.
