Life’s Lessons Are not Taught in School
 

Everyone is happy to receive compliments
There is a saying: I am rich and love presents
Those who believe we have to follow rules,
Forget that writing expresses our feelings.
The rules we get in school,
Give us just a basic tool
Just to put us on the track
To let us find what we lack
Our feelings are a tiny part of an ocean
That fills our body with a stream of love
This part we do not learn, for sure,
It comes to us when we are mature
We now can give what the best college can’t
As parents, grandparents, uncles, and aunts
We create joy, happiness and life’s flavor.
Those who do not grasp this noble endeavor,
Will realize it at a later time when they are ripe.
Let’s cherish those who give the lessons of life,
May they be sophisticated or plain,
Our soul will recognize and bless them.
