My Holy Friend

I will not be blinded by flashy light
But of my own spark never lose sight

My Holy Friend

Please stay with me, I pray,
Lighten my heart and my way
And dwell deep in my heart -                        
Without you it’s very hard                         

Your tenderness and splendor
Show your beauty and wonder
Your serenity awakens my spirit
Without you my love has no merit

With you I’m happy day and night
As your light is always so bright
And finds me full of confidence
Listening to my heart and cadence

No sun, no star, close or far away
Can ever be compared with your ray
I will not be blinded by flashy light
But of my own spark never lose sight.
