The Holiday’s
They are coming near
So let’s decorate
And spread the cheer

Looking outwards in time
A large open space
We will surely now define

White light up reindeer
Now on the front lawn
Up go Christmas lights
Steadily flashing until dawn

A Hanukkah menorah
And Mr. and Mrs. Clause
Facing each other and smiling
For a very peaceful cause

What a beautiful window
We looked up with glee
Sending the message
Of true diversity

With a full moon ahead
What a lovely night
Sleeping so peacefully
Woken up in fright

All of a sudden
We heard a clatter
We ran downstairs
To see what was the matter

Christmas lights missing
White reindeers on the ground
Angels no longer wishing
And not a jingle sound

Blow up frosty deflated
He is now long gone
Feeling so very hated
Because he did nothing wrong

We looked at each other
With such dismay
Why in the world
Were we being treated this way?

Minds started to wonder
Looking up at that window
We sure did ponder

Have respect for others
This upcoming holiday season
Because we all celebrate
For a similar reason
