Your earth so parched
Your sea so tainted
Your air so contaminated
and your mountains on fire.
Mother Can you Hear me?
Drink of healing tears from heaven,
replenish the salt from angel's mines,
freshen the air with God's breath,
while taming the volcanic fires.
Mother Can You Hear me?
creatures are crying
rivers are drying
Earth's vibrations are heard
please send us your word.
Mother Can you Hear me?
We acknowledge our crime,
that took place over time,
continuing to abuse your resources
now to look to you for recourse!
author's notes:
We look to Mother Nature, Mother Earth, to protect us from our own self-destruction of her earth. Come on, let's start to realize our crime, and save our planet from dying!
I feel a strong pull to write this today, please help save our planet!
I hear the calls of nature's need
I feel the pain, brought by acid rains
staining the souls of men so cruel
killing creature big and small.
Peace be with you
What a stunning image and beautiful, poignant poetry: she may not hear us, if we keep treating her the way we are. God help us when she's had ENOUGH. Well done.
Amber, I'm glad you wrote this important reminder...lets hope people listen.
Peace,
Dan

Aptly written words Amber.
It is amazing how we continue to put profit above resources and our planet. Thank you for your love of nature and earth's spirit.

A touching, loving and spirtual insight of the dying process, filled with peace, smiles and starting on their journey, taking me with them as far as I could go, returning back with something I didn't have before. Will be out early in 2010..on Kindle
This needs to be brought to a wider audience, somehow. It is the responsibility of each of us to preserve our earth.
Blessings to you and this is an exceptional write.

Far too many still turn a very deaf ear to Mother. And I hope they can finally hear your shout, before it's too late.
Great poem.
