Since you left me,

I have been falling apart at the seam

Nothing can mend this broken heart

It feels just like a dream.

Since you left me,

My life is so unreal

No one can mend this broken heart

You are all I feel.

Since you left me,

The clouds are so dark,

The sun can’t even mend this broken heart,

You took away my spark.

Since you left me,

I feel so all alone,

Love won’t mend this broken heart

I sit and wait by the telephone.

Since you left me,

My life is all torn upside down,

Distance can’t even mend this broken heart,

I need this to turn around.

Since you left me,

I have been so very blue,

Time can’t even mend this broken heart

Oh please, tell me what to do!

Since you left me,

I have been trying to mend this broken heart;

But, no other love has come close,

To playing your part.

Since you left me,

Steps are moving fast

Looking for the lightness,      

To end the darkness of the past.
