I’m fresh out of my bed, touching my toes

Bending my knees and forgetting my woes,

Taking deep-deep breaths to expand my chest

My mood is bright, riding high on a crest.

Good food, exercise the essence of life;

With big beaming smile I’m greeting the wife.

I’m feeling good; feel on top of the world

And never utter a discontent word.

Positive thinking with positive act,

Taking life in my stride, ‘matter of fact.

A smile on my face, not a touch of gloom;

I am sweeping the house with a new broom.

I’m healthy, happy and free as a bird,

Thinking bad thoughts is just simply absurd.

This new life of mine’s happy with laughter…

…N’ I’ll start tomorrow… or the day after…
