Please listen people to a tale
In which a demon did prevail
Against her evil nature she
Helped bring the Pix to victory.

Her face hidden by a black hood
Creature of evil turned to good
A story all people should heed
Of the sorceress Darklin Reed.

She ruled the demons as a lord
'Til she was cast out of the hoard
Her own kind thought it was a curse
To have compassion. What was worse?

During the torture, death, and war
She could not bear it any more.
With painful conscience she had known
Her people must be overthrown.

After the wars were over she
Hid where she knew no one would see.
Her devil's horns and blood red skin
Condemned her as a thing of sin.

In the Rune Mountains she did dwell
This lonely demon straight from Hell
'Till called upon to lend her hand
To banish evil from the land.

So on a quest the demon went
Along with others who were sent
To fight a griffin, great and cruel
And obtain a powerful tool.

The tool helped cause tyranny's fall
And brought freedom to one and all.
In no small part did we succeed
Due to the aid of Darklin Reed.
