But, revolution is still possible.
We've come to a fork in the trail,
Not unexpected to say the least;
We could have been at our trail’s end,
Instead, we chose to elect the beast.
Though GREED was branded upon its head,
Most still chose not to see it at all;
Its eyes burned with a lusting fire,
As anxiously, it awaited our fall.
My friends, most didn’t see the trap,
As it was thrown across the trail;
They were simply looking ahead,
Not watching for the demon’s tail.
I hate the saying, "I told you so,"
But as I recall, that's what I said;
Now the proof's been dropped in our laps,
Change he promised, this change he did.
So much for GOD BLESS AMERICA,
America's end is now in sight;
The saddest part of the whole thing is,
We didn't even put up a good fight.
Very strong words and insightful message, but all countries are going through God's "shaking" perhaps to sift out what is to be treasured -eternally- rather than the material and fleeting things of this life.

Powerful writing Paul and sadly so true, yet there is still time or at least I like to believe that. Even those who wanted "Change" I do not believe had this in mind. This is prophecy coming to pass as Nostradamus wrote and no one heeded the warnings....

While we hang Christmas decorations some politician is decorating his wallet.
While we are shopping for gifts another Congressman is taking gifts from the D.C. Wash.
While we are praying and attending church services another Senator is being a self-servant for his party and not the people.
We all need to take a day off to pray for our nation all at once. Then they will have to pay closer attention to the people who pay their salaries. They need to be reminded they work for US and not the other way around.

IMO, 'we' didn't put up a fight because the government, that is supposed to be by and for the people, went ahead and did what they planned to anydangway. We weren't given a choice. 'We' ignored the warnings. 'We' wanted change. 'We' were ticked off at the last administration.
'We' is not you, not I, not many here. 'We' is those who didn't give a rip, who, despite the warnings, ignored U.S.
'They' (the government) didn't need our approval: they got it back when 'we' voted them in. Is this the kind of change we need? The death of Liberty? What's next, freedom? Have a feeling it's in intensive care, on life support, soon to be on the way out, with the quickness. Reminds me of the TV miniseries, 'V': the visitors, the aliens from another world. The visitors are not our friends. God help us.
Yes it is! But then so is the rest of the world...Endtimes Paul, it's gonna hit us all. America is just the catylyst used...read the prophecies of Daniel and Rev..The nation that once was Lamblike, is now talking like a dragon!!
