Memories won't allow me to simply let go. And that's a good thing. Thank You, Lord.
From the fateful day that we met She seemed to know what was to be Yet she saw I was bound by fear Then she set out to set me free Ever since the first time we met She never, ever did me wrong She held me tight beneath her wings She made me feel like I belonged I could never count all the ways That she helped to mend this old heart The ways she made me feel so loved As she did from the very start Yes, I believe in miracles She is one that God gave to me I'll ever keep her in my heart I'll love her for all eternity She made me feel I was needed As she caressed me with her love I am still thankful to this day For that Angel sent from above
