There must be someplace where killings absurd

Where people find hope through more loving words

Somewhere in time where there’s no race to win

Where every ones safe, where goodness begins

I want to live

Where people forgive

Where kindness is always repaid

A world without blindness

Where pain cannot find us

Where no one is ever afraid

There must be someway we all can escape

A world truly void of all violence and rage

A place of trust, of love and respect

Where anger is never a feeling expressed

Where my soul is set free to explore

Where nature astounds me, never confounds me

This place that I miss that I know must exist

Might be distant or outside my door

Its there in my dreams and though its extreme

It’s a quest that cannot be ignored
