That one so innocent and unknowing
Commands the moon and the stars with but a smile
Not by intent; merely a residue of the act
Even angels envy the beauty that radiates from within you
With but a word the strong grow weak and the weak find hope
In your touch God’s goodness is revealed
Soothing, healing the deepest wounds of the heart
How can it be that you are here with me?
Wrapped in passion’s embrace
Submitting to every advance
Drawing every ounce of love from my heart
Engulfed and vanquished it is I who submit
Never to be the same
Never to know guilt or shame
You revealed to me the heavens
Transformed my spirit
Forged in me a great purpose
