The Night is Gone, and darkness,
stumbles by the grip of day.
Like a single droplet of water falling,
From a darkened cloud they say.
I cry out to the moonlight
shining through the puffy clouds,
And happiness once more o'er my sight
Of which my spirit reveals.
A sense of happiness and care
Far from any pain or sorrow,
And solitude only aired.
The mist now instead of dust,
A loving hand to offer I must.
Come, now all, read and write a poem
Maybe about a simple feeling like love,
Lost, gained, forgotten, now found
Soothe my restful thoughts.
Vanquished now by raindrops sound
What they found was thought lost forever,
Distanced echoes in the valley
Spread and touched.
Hold my little hand, ever so gently
Careful the thoughts of the child,
for the darkness turned from night to daylight
Do come, friend, spend time with me!
Through this last night filled with smiles
For a child's laughter
Of music, graces, and caring.
No more, no more
Not ever now.
Drowned now by the approaching
Dawn of days,
And nights gone asleep...
