Poem Artwork

So maybe ––
after so many passages
through the stone archways of time

and up one grassy slope or another ––
maybe, even still, it is true
that there will be love
because Love
is all there is.
And more:

Somewhere, perhaps ––
in fields of lavender or a forest

of barren trees bursting full with light ––
will come a moment of radiance, transcendent

and the stunning realization that, maybe,
even as I searched everywhere, passing
through a thousand doors in time,
turning the world upside down,
turning myself inside out,
giving my whole heart
to follow, follow you,

you were with me
all the while and I
now, here,
with you.

So maybe --
standing still in the clearing
in the breath between what’s next

and the miracle heartbeat of this now ––
maybe, even still, it is true

that I am held in love
because Love
is who I am.
And more:

Beautifully written lines. It looks like you are ready to face life on your own whether he appears or not. Bravo!

Borderlands of the Spirit by John Herlihy

In today’s secular environment the two worlds of science and spirituality are alien worlds, distinguished primarily by a deep-seated antagonism in which the principles of spirituality and the pragmatism of modern science exist face to face in a peren

Let Your Goddess Grow! by Charlene Proctor
