Though it is clearly November
the grass is still green
leafless is the timber
shorter days are now seen

The calendar tells us
that we should get snow soon
but besides a few wind gusts
autumn holds on with its pretty gloom

In another six weeks
Christmas will be here
with all its mystiques
and a handful of Reindeer

So what does one do
to enjoy those last days?
Today the sky was so blue
and my horse happily grazed --

Until my crazy hubby Troy
thought it might be fun
to prove he's still a little boy
and took my horse for a run.

Now I can report gladly
no harm's done to the filly
only a decent size wedgy
next to my hubby's willy.....
