Calico Kat at Fee’s Bath House
Purrrrfect!

By Kathy Armijo
My sister Kate, Sweet as Sugar
(the weird one in the family)
Wrote this twister
of a letter to me.

Had to come
and just had to see
the house numbered sixty-nine
and all its dark mystery.

Fee and I decided
to divide the house
Bottom floor:

Mr. Fee’s Bath and Shower
Second Floor:

Calico Kat’s House of Power.

At Calico Kat’s House,
the Brothers Ed can get in free.
Each Ed’s head
will be treated purrrrfectly.

First a shampoo.
Next, we'll apply
some of that chocolate scented mousse.
Then it must be blow-dried
to a delightful height
with expectations of not letting them
lose their purrrrfectly lovely curls.

Next, Kat’s trademarked
front and back rub.
See how their faces shine!
Don’t stop
The Ed’s do holler.
Stay with me,
Stay with me,
A bit longer for a waller.
Purrrrfect!  Purrrrfect!

To get rid of their weathered faces –
A touch of this
A smidge of that
Erasing the lines leaving no traces.

But, the Calico Kat House
Treatment is still not done.
Let’s add a glass of wine,
an oyster,
or two or three.
And for dessert,
a purrrrfectly lovely strawberry.

The Brother’s Ed
After all this purrrrfect delight
May indeed give-up and die.

The poor undertakers
(Dress them all up in fine women’s lacy things,
For that is all the treasure those Pirates bring)
Taking bets of a dime
to see who can finally close
the coffin lid fast and fine.

Purrrrfectly, purrrrfect!

Purrrrrrrr…

In response to Mr. Ed ---- cigars, no problem. The more Ed’s, the merrier. It would make be purrrrfect, but I’ll have to ask Mr. Fee about getting another floor, or two or three added to the house.

Purrrring over the EDition,
Calico Kat

WOW! I just sent this to 1,087 Eds around the world. And 900 already replied. And if it ain't too much trouble, can you stock some fine cigars, too? Eds really love their cigars. Thanks.

Aye tis na wonder I am living with a constant smile on me worn and weathered old seaman's face of late...should have retired from that thar pirating busyness a long time ago...my God how that money rolls in...and all for the price of a sin...mind you Sweet Rose's place of business may keep the Ed's criss crossing the streets a lot.

hugs
Mr. Fee
