Silly Thoughts from an Addled Brain

I’ve discovered that it is probably easier to

Find a needle in a haystack

Than trying to figure out life’s “whereto”

 

The notion of rolling in the hay

Making a scarecrow

Is my idea of the ideal workday

 

Life will happen regardless of my input

I might as well do what makes me happy

And, enjoy going barefoot

 

The needle will always be there

And I might find it.  But until then,

I’ll enjoy life before I get into a wheelchair

I agree with you, as I enjoy riding on the motorcycle with Fred even when I know I will suffer in pain for the next few days. If I don't go I'll still suffer so I may as well enjoy myself. Thank you Kathy for sharing.

Love your take on this, Kathy... and can certainly endorse the positive health benefits of both going barefoot and rolling in the hay! Any surprise, therefore, that living life thus causes things to "just happen"... without any input whatsoever from us! ;)

I like to live in the moment and go with the flow wherever I go. We have to reach out and do what we want mostly to do and let nothing hold us back. There are so many things to explore and do out there, and we must take time to smell the flowers and hay, so say.
