(A bedtime 'prayer' I wrote for myself, to remind me that everyday is a new adventure that has to be lived. Too often we live in regret of what we could've been, what shoud've been done forgetting to appreciate another day that should be spent well...)
Tonight I die
I die to what I was
to the things
that were not meant to be
I close the door
taking with me only that which I should
lessons learned
joys reaped
seeds of perseverance
and bags of hope
Today is gone but
not forgotten
Never to be relived
only revisited
Tonight I shed
the remnants of old me
as a caterpillar sheds its skin
and prepares for flight
I will take the journey
towards becoming who I am
add one more puzzle piece
to the bigger picture
accept tomorrow
with profound gratitude
knowing again
my life was spared
and my chances extended
today I Did Indeed Everything I could
and 'twas enough...
(A miracle is when God sees you've done everything in your power and can humanly do no more...then he finishes it)
...inspired words...give life to everything...so appreciated...that another day found...would find one again...graciously in its arms...and one of miracles.
