North Carolina greeted with blazing pink rhododendrons the smoky mountains I hugged tightly its western borders of Cherokee forest mysterious roads meandered and rolled switchbacks and curves taking me into the river below veiling my eyes to any road leading east not letting me see until releasing me upon the border land of Tennessee
a beautiful day across Virginia blue ridge mountains and grazing farms then I crossed the Shenandoah on to Alexandria my soul sister a glass of wine and a deck of cards no reminisce nor future planned content to be as we are her library filled with validations of knowledge and comprehension the Virginia sky poured down tears how my heart begged and mind thoughts spiraled the meridian of timeline and imbedded codes patiently waiting for the rain to pass knowing the inner guidance
I pulled out a book from the shelf and curled up with a blanket and coffee The Kybalion was one I’d never read yet aware of its philosophy to fine tune the knowing of existence everything comes when it is time and nothing comes when it isn’t
