summer treat

i slide off the wrapper ...
careful not to bruise it
i lick it to remove the frost
then i touch the tip to my lips
i part my mouth and circle with my tongue
feeling it seep into my warm

then a gentle nibble
i slide it in further
my lips mold to its shape
as i move it in and out
it is warm inside
causing it to melt
liquid feeling down my throat

and when its done i lick the stick
being sure i didn't miss a drop
