This story is a combination of all my recurring dreams and dreams, and FICTIONAL stories.

Once I reach behind this door - number 1 - I am immediately struck by red smoke. The place is hot and steamy. It is filled with smoke and fire! It’s so hot that I can hardly breathe! I hear people screaming in pain. The man who has come in before me has vanished. I cannot find him anywhere.

Immense heat and hot steam are now rising up to my face and body. Suddenly, I feel the ground move! It shakes the whole place, and it is parting. I cannot steady myself, and I am about to fall under! This has taken me by surprise! I hold onto the edge of the ground with all my might.

I’m struck by immense fear, afraid that I will fall under into the fire-pit. I’m feeling weak, deprived of all my personal powers. I’m feeling dizzy, sick to my stomach of what may happen next. I’m keeping my eyes closed, trying not to look down into the fire-pit.

I'm praying to God for mercy. After what seems like an eternity, I feel being lifted by a rush of what seems like strong waves. It cradles me, and carries me to a higher ground.

“You must be careful! DO NOT EVER let yourself fall in!” A voice says.

I find myself now back to a much solid higher ground as if I’m on top of a mountain. I look down and the earth’s surface has become transparent. I can see everything below its surface. Deep below the earth’s surface is a huge place, almost as large and as wide as the earth’s surface itself. From this vantage point I can see a hellish place, it is filled with eternal fire.

On one side is a tall podium. Dark clouds gather on top of the podium, where an ugly creature sits. This creature is large with a square-shaped face, his jaw-line exceeds behind his ears. His eyes bloodied, his nostrils are wide and inside his mouth are the yellow teeth. On top of his head are the two horns.

At this time the creature is reading to the person, who is at the front of the line, what he has done wrong in his life. The scene of his deed is being played out in front of his and everyone’s eyes. I learn that this person has been a mass murderer who has killed many innocent people in a school yard, he then turned the gun on himself. He is now being snatched away by two guards in the red suits, and be thrown into the inferno.

Yonder I can see rows and rows of people. Everyone inside - working like slaves. Sweat is pouring down from their foreheads. Some already have blisters formed on their faces and bodies. Like prisoners, these people are bound in chains on their ankles. Each one of them is trying hard to pull their soul out of the fire. I can hear the prisoners cry in pain as the merciless guards in the red suits whip them.

When I look closely into the guards’ faces I am horrified to see the evil that dwell within their eyes. These guards are like demonic creatures with horns on their heads! They ARE the devils! The prisoners’ skin are scorched by the heat of the fire. I can see pieces of flesh and blisters being torn off each time the devils whip them.

The prisoners must walk in a line, and the line is long. They may be there for a long time. Their souls have been thrown into the eternal fire for cleansing, and they may feel the burning sensation of their souls for a long time. The prisoners must work very hard to gain back their purified souls! I look into the long line of prisoners, and am struck with the biggest surprise!

There is a familiar face in the line of the prisoners. That young man who has been tormenting me on the road is now one of the prisoners in the line! He now has only half a face left, the other half is badly mangled. He is being whipped by the guards. His red and blue tank top is now shredded to pieces, just barely hanging on to his body.

Suddenly, a strong hand is gently clutching mine. I look over to find the person in the ram's head, and am glad to still see him being with me! I don't think he has ever left me!

I tell him I’m feeling sorry for all the prisoners, as I do not like to see people suffering. He reassures me that although they will be there for a long time, they are not going to be there for eternity. He tells me that when a prisoner pulls and pulls along his/her cleansing soul, and after he/she has reached the front of the line, his/her duty will then be relieved. The prisoner will then be rid of the chains, and the soul will be free of the tortures of the inferno and its demonic creatures. The purified soul is set free to rise up into the universe once again.

Now, this person in ram's head walks further with me, and we have now come to yet another painting on the wall. On one side of the painting there is the light. I can hear music that is pleasant to my ears. On the other side of the painting there is the darkness, I can hear prisoners crying in pain. There is no need for words to explain, I already understand the messages:

Each person in this world has only two doors to choose their path. You either choose door number 1, or door number 2. Although door number 1 is more enticing and easier for one to choose to walk in, it’s door number 2 that will lead us to a good life and happiness. If one has chosen the wrong door, one has to face the consequences.

I walk towards the side where there is light, and the person in the ram's head gives me a smile. I know I have chosen the right path. Now I find myself in a church parking lot, and am sitting back inside my car.

Thank you, God! You have made me see the light! I start my car and continue on driving. Something is happening down the road. I can see police cars and three ambulances. There must be some kind of accident.

As I pull over to have a closer view, I’m in shocked to see what is happening, That young man who has been rear-ending my car is now lying on the ground. Half of his face is bloodied and badly disfigured, just as I had seen him in that fire-pit. Paramedics are now shaking their heads, I’m assuming he must be already dead.

Another woman and two children - a boy and a girl are now being lifted into the ambulance vans, and are now on their way to the hospital. I just know they will be alright and all three will survive and live on, because the woman had chosen door number 2! Too bad the young man is dead! I close my eyes, and say a little prayer for them all.

Now I know for certain: Although in the future I may or may not re-visit the forest, I don’t think I will ever be afraid again. I know through my prayers to God, HE will ensure my safety. HE will not let evils to befall upon me, and HE will always keep me safe from the devils’ harm.

As I look up into the bright blue sky I feel its limitless boundary. I feel its vastness of heavenly joy and celebration! I feel its abundance of brightness to this land! And then at night, there’s the moon with its silvery light allowing us to find our paths in the dark. And then there are the stars, they are God’s little angels, each holding their brightly-lit wand to fill magic into this world!

Sandie, I am so glad I took the time to track down your page. Your story reminded me of Dante's Inferno. I took choose Door #2. I fear only one thing in life, failing my daughter who has been a special needs child from birth. As I see it, God gave her to me to protect and care for. That contract had no expiration date. It wasn't an eighteen year assignment. I am so glad to be back posting on the Den. I have even more reason to tell people about the wonderful things God has done in my life.

You have very vivid dreams, and you write them in great details. The process of cleansing the souls and that the purified souls would once again rise up to the universe was so convincing. Great imaginative write!
