I’d like to tell you of my best friend,
Someone I know I can count on
I tell her of my toil and strife,
and she is always there
She’s such a good friend to me,
The type of friend one has for life.
We share each others joys and pleasures
but when hard times hit, we’re there for
each other. A single Mom with a young son,
I know she’s glad when day is done.
We’ve known each other for ten years now
It’s so hard to wonder how…
We’ve never seen each other, never heard each
other’s voice, and we live on different coasts.
True friends are hard to get,
Especially ones you’ve never met.
I like it, every one does need true friend. My friends are true ones too and would do anything for me it seems. I make friends easily and have many. Love them all the same. Long distance friendships are hard but can be had and are all the more precious. Take care with your friend and she will never let you down either. Life is so much more fun with good friends and people who care. God is still my best friend though.
