Flavescent jewels dropped
from the indigo sky;
confessions of dreams bore
the chimera of ideas.
Faded now are those memories
of fallow fields;
those daisies turned into thorns
of a briars patch.
Claiming this heart
under poisons of iniquity;
those stones of marbled imposters
seeking love;
she buried her soul
in the mortuary of truth…
But what are embers
lethal injections of warmth;
those feelings of emotion
which give wings to fly?
She gathers her treasures
fallen from the hidden veils;
Amber rocks upon the golden chains
of secret desires.
She plucks some dead roses
from the thorny fields;
Her hands the branches
of callous archaic pines.
Seeping into the tenebrous thoughts
of unvalued promise;
She reaches into her cerement gown
of sordid betrayals…
She breaks her fragile globe of passion
onto the weeping meadows;
As she silently reaches
…for her talisman of provocations.
She offers herself to the amulet
of darkles veins;
Knowing that love
shall give her no wings to fly.
She undresses her canvas of flesh
to the darkened cliff;
The destitutions of voices
echo…calling the furies wind.
Cast out to the sable shadows
of sin she frees;
The poison of lust to remove
its charred curse of needs…
She kneels to reveal
an undertaking of renewals;
Feculent bat wings arise from
the soiled earth at her feet.
Prowling her bituminous thoughts
to take flight in darkness;
She sordidly peers
into her flavescent jewels in somber hands.
Revealing the infected visions
of her fallen confessions;
No longer seeking…love…
…she reaches
for her obsidian wings…
JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
she buried her soul
in the mortuary of truth…
what amazingly powerful words the only place to realy find love is in truth, without we have nothing.
i love your dark side it's menacing but very darkly seductive.
what a many faceted person you are.
Dave.
In peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"
"No longer seeking love", though, seems antithetic to your calling.
It's neat to see someone expressing better, and flying higher
than I've ever known her to. enjoyed this!
