Quiescent snow dappled canvas
Wintry shrouds grace arctic jewels
As solstice whispers with boreal icicles
The winter’s opaque snow song echoes still
Offering archways of capacious ice drifts
While her glacial embrace is frozen with time
Slumbering in stillness with celestial dreams
Crystallized by arctic’s chilling prismatic mime
Breathing frost into the snow capped skyway
Glaucescent clouds whisper to the meadows deep: "Slumber sweet seasons resting with feral jewels
Hibernal treasures your slumberous roots do keep…"
wonderful writing indeed Vic, I can almost see Mr Frost and Ms Snow getting together to entwine in an embrace of warmth to impregnate the earth for springs coming.

Another gem to add to your long list of great writings. I guess just about the entire country is frozen. But it will move away soon. I enjoyed this writing very much, Have a great day, Dear One.
nicely done, you capture the essence of the winter, this Winters' experience and yet the hope of "slumberous roots" I would say hats off ,but it's too cold here so a nod of the head to you
...FROZEN WITH TIME...BUT ONLY FOR A LITTLE TIME, THEN THOSE 'HIBERNAL TREASURES' WILL AWAKEN AND ARISE... ONCE AGAIN DISPLAYING THE AWESOME BEAUTY OF SPRING. THUS, EVEN IN THE MIDST OF WHAT 'SEEMS' HOPELESS...WE KNOW...THIS TOO SHALL PASS. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING, VICKIE. BLESSINGS, LOVE & FAITH...
