One night I dreamed of dragons
with wings of blue and gold.
Their horns of finest ivory,
their exquisite grace untold.

Their scales shimmered like the sun
shining on the sea.
The night I dreamed of dragons,
or dragons dreamed of me.

The night I dreamed of dragons,
with claws as black as night.
I saw them around a marker
before they took to flight.

I walked to the marker,
it was these words I read,
Follow your dreams, Believe in your heart,
or the dragon inside you is dead

A poem I wrote long ago found in a notebook when I was cleaning
