Poem Artwork

Daguerreotype days,
sepia-toned and wistful scenes:
scenarios surreal in nature,
clouded, azure hillocks rolling
gently horizon-ward.

Her eyes reward perception
with love,
emanating breath-wise;
ascending, spiral-centered,
tube-torus’d and phi-ratio’d
golden sections.

In you, there is me.
We are One
beyond sensation,
beyond illusions of
separation,
an endless void permeated
by consciousness.

We are
Islands of self-delusion
flocking south for
the soul’s winter, unconsciously
obeying Demiurge’s declination
of our final destination, determined
by genetic predisposition.

Railing ceaselessly against
destiny’s draw,
the cards fall where they will,
human will but a straw house
buckling against
the fulsome typhoon
of God’s karmic breath.

Peace lies beyond the waves,
over the horizon
multi-hued by colors beyond
conception, depths beyond
perception, heights beyond
the inception of life lived
past self-deception.

In me, there is you.
We are two,
beyond what is only true ,
dichotomous existence
being but a clue
as to the scope of
rising hope, in the form of
scintillating isotopes
soaked in colloidal
cultures, saturated by
sin.

Digital depictions distance
us from the din of day’s
transition to night, the
soulful cry of the moon’s
delight, upon rising by
divine right,
a sublime sight indeed,
casting ivory-hued rays
over landscapes beyond
day’s reach.

Her eyes deny the
lies, at their very essence
contrived, mere sties
occluding sight that belies
what is soul-felt and
eternally right,
that is, the omnificent
and preternatural
might, coexistent with
love expressed at the
Speed of
Light.

You capture the journey so well, and I am sent spiral centered, reeling, no longer feeling, just there...as quick as thought, faster than the speed of light, I find myself.....here and now.

Spellbinding, mind warping, and beautiful. Sometimes reading you is like trying to capture energy. It only flows when you are still and your heart is open, to receive these pearls of knowledge ~and even still I must go back and read it again.
Catch ya on the flip side~ Your soul sista~Shell

Our days on Earth moving so fast, the Speed of Light. People are weak, metaphorically like straw houses. The power of Goddess/God blows over and humans are wasted. Daguerreotype photographs I hope are at least preserved. These artistic photos hold mystique and the colors of yesteryear. To stop for awhile and look at it all. Few ever see those ivory-hued rays because they are looking for photographic cataracts, those dark films through negative eyes. I rewind Speed of Light and now read it in slow mo. I read this with 20/20 mind. Mark, good job!
