Are you watching the star’s silver light?
If you listen closely, can you hear the tune
that the heavens are singing on this soft Irish night?

Elves blow their wooden horns to rally the hunt together.
The leprechauns suspiciously move their treasure once more.
Fairies glide across moonlit water on a boat made of a feather,
and Pooka’s gather together along the dark Irish shore.

The Irish Sea, so deep and so wide,
glows with an otherworldly light.
Mermaids ride in with the tide
to play on land as mortals tonight.

Softly glistening, the moon shines bright.
The stars twinkle a heavenly tune.
The breezes blow soft in the night
and the air smells so sweet here in June.

Too soon, midnight has long since past.
Yawning widely, elves and fairies retire.
The sleepy Moon rests, at last, and
the stars stretch and turn out their fire.
