Strange as this statement may seem,
there’s a lot of wisdom in a moonbeam.
A moonbeam shines down upon us lovingly.
It caresses the new green grass and the old oak tree.
The moon is never filled with rage or hate.
Why should it...with all that cheese on its plate?
It sails serenely across the sky.
It never wonders how or why.
Simply done, is the moon's style and grace.
She never frets about ‘other’ moons form or face.
She sees all the Earth's creatures great or small
and never cares if they are short or tall.
She loves us regardless of our colors or races,
but cares about the sorrow and tears on our faces.
Yes, a moonbeam can teach us, whether sister or brother,
how to conduct ourselves and how to treat one another.

I like this! There's truth here too. We're always worrying over things changing, the ups and downs in life; but the moon stays up there, serene, looking down, letting all the change pass by.

Great message, beautiful writing...
Love the way you began and ended the poem--
'course the middle is pretty darn good, too!
