This write is sad and each word burns with vision. It's just that strong. But I am delighted and applaud the triumph. The will to live is powerful than we know. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Oh Lori, talk about the power of words...you have expressed volumes in just a few short sentences...How horrible for the victim, whoever she might be. The one thing these sick SOB's want is power. When we cease to be their victims, it's when the power returns to us...and then we are able to heal. Bless you for such a powerful write. Michelle

Lori,

Heartbreaking to know that so many have went through such a horrible thing. Your writing was vivid and raw, but it didn't end with the tragedy. It ended "Resurrection A victim no more." That was beautifully written. This short piece of poetry tells so much. Excellent and I'm so proud you can write about it. Keep up the beautiful writing.
