We the People We the masses We the Serfs of the lower classes chained to our cars by government deed pumped by the taxes of government greed We the People We the masses We the serfs of the lower classes crippled in our voices by government power fixed in our choices the People devoured We the People We the masses We the serfs of the lower classes constrained to watch our wages taken destined for the empire of our nation's making

This is an excellent write. Repeating the We the People stanza adds more power to your poem. Maybe, that is the only way that the serfs will stand out.

Absolute write, J. I have always wondered what government does with all the money that comes their way. Yet, hunger, poverty, sickness, cheating are found every corner you turn. It is so sad, my brother.
