betrayal
What happens when blood betrays blood? Does it eat at the heart like a flesh-eating monster? Or does it boil in a pot like oil? Does it blow at the mind like a demonic foghorn? Or does it burn and flame like a fiery coal? Or does the father die at the hands of his son?

I don't know, but the thought leaves me feeling cold. I know it happens--that last line. On the news you hear of blood abusing blood.--so sad, it tears me to pieces.
