“Discovery”

I have witnessed too many things, I hoped not to see.

I have traveled the world where I wished not to be.

I’m trying to discover what it all really means.

I have loved many people that did not understand,

when you offer your smiles, don’t mean them as frowns.

I have learned to listen and not offer advice, ‘cause losing a loved one comes with a very high price.

So laugh, dance and hold someone near.  Life’s too short for any more tears.
