A day that commenced with inflatable gale

The cheer that your mastery of the game

Will stand any test and very strikes of time

Overwhelm the best of very bests of day

Unseeded strikes and insinuating strokes

From the little lad seemed to know no bounds

My heart fainted as you trailed three down

My boast that the champ and very sister dear

The awe-striking unassuming striker

Will carry the day with customary grace

Appeared so early to be punctured.

Up your sleeves lay in unfamiliar leisure

Those grunts and guts of a solid frame

Elegant serves and combustible strokes

From nowhere and in very fashion you

Hit the court in double turns  and torrents 

The very grace we all know and cherish

Excellent spirit, power and poise overall

You made my day and very day of all 

On Carolina's soil, history-rich Charleston great

Thank you Serena so cherished so adored

This prayer and humble submision

That you flourish and evermore blossom

uphold the vibe, the gut and chastity

Of true honor a leader may remain

Of youthful spirits and all true mankind
