      Hot & Cold

How can there be a right ?

Until there's been a wrong

Can someone truly be weak ?

Without them ever being strong

You know there is no up

Unless there is a down

It's a shame there is no smile

To complement a frown

How do you know what's hot ?

Till you feel the chill of cold

And nothing can be bought

Until it has been sold

And how can you tell your dry ?

Without your skin being wet

Can there be laughter ?

Without you having to cry

There can be no peace

Until the bitter taste of war

Do you think there can be saints ?

Without a world of whores

Can a day be a day ?

Unless it's followed by night

This world is doomed to stay blind

Until it gains its sight

A nearly perfect rendition of words and rhyme that describes the yin and yang of life.

The lesson is that without experience we cannot know all the other side feels.

Tony, I like the use of opposites , nice read and I think the world has been in the blind section for a few centuries now but gets a peek of light every now and then.
