We are Being Invaded!
Oh, I had a wild dream when I went to bed last night.
There were spaceships overhead in one gigantic fight.
One by one, houses disappeared as if they were never there.
Even though I was traumatized, I couldn't help but stare.
Who are these invaders, what on earth did we do?
To have them invade us, and destroy our houses too?
So many holes are in the ground where houses used to be.
Everywhere I look, destruction is the only thing I see.
Where are the good guys that come and save the day?
No one is around but invaders with their destroying rays.
If I’m in a terrible dream, then please let me awake,
For this is an awful nightmare, my bed must surely shake.
But if this actually is going on, with their captains and their crew.
Make these spaceships disappear and take the invaders too.
For I like my neighbors, they’ve been so good to me.
They’ve done nothing to these guys, nothing I can see.
Still the fighting continued on, no mercy do they show.
When all of a sudden,
Captain Kirk appeared, with all of them in tow.
