The only thing about this story the I truly regret is I couldn't find my video camera.

Poem Artwork

One Old, One New

Two little babies locked together in walkers,
one old, one new, with attached toys.
In the old one was a little girl,
in the new and fancy one was a little boy.
They were only about three months old
and facing one another.
Linked together in their walkers
like a sister and a brother.

He started grabbing all the toys between
so she couldn’t play with them.
She grabbed one at the same time as he
and a violent struggle then began.
His little ears stuck out & face got extremely red
as he pulled with all his might.
She held on with all her strength
and soon they were in a fight.

This tug of war went on and on,
with neither giving an inch.
He was a lot bigger than she was,
It should have been a cinch.

The more he pulled, the more red
his little face had got.
She looked up and saw him,
started laughing quite a lot.
The more he pulled the more she laughed
but she never let go of the toy.
This was the funniest thing I ever saw,
that little girl and boy.

And that reafirms the believing that when a woman wants something she wouldn't let go until she have it.
Oh! poor little boy in a walker....

Yes, if you lose your cool in a fight you are probably going to lose. So the bigger boy was at a loss to the little girl who thought it was all in fun. What an awesome story. It is too bad you didn't have your video. Liz

That 1890 walker hasn't changed much in the last 100 years and the story is a gas. Cut gal in that pic.

Oh, how toys do tempt the little ones! And even as they get bigger :o)
Delightfully humorous poem, Bonnie! And see you got the "images" part working, now.

In the picture, she's laughing still, and the undisputed winner!
Great little poem--the eternal struggle between male and female goes on.

Thanks for a grin to get me going today!

Your Sis Connie
