I couldn't make up a story like this.

Poem Artwork

He Never Broke His Stride

Everyone was having septic problems because of all the rain.
So everyone one was replacing them, before new rains came.
All the yards had gigantic holes which was an ugly site.
But they provided a belly laugh, one time late at night.

My husband was visiting with our neighbors just up the street.
He started running through the yards and never missed a beat.
All of sudden he disappeared into one of the deep holes.
You could hear his expletive when the hole took its toll.

He never broke his stride he kept running just the same.
But I could smell him coming, long before he called my name.

Bonnie May

loved this my friend...I could just envision this in my mind, it's funny, but it's not! This happened to a little boy years ago when I was in elementary school...yuk, boy did his parents have a surprize waiting for them when they come to pick him up! Enjoyed!
Blessings,
Joyce B.

That picture looks evil and unhealthy. I can just imagine stepping into whatever that is. It's bad enough when kids come in contact with a skunk, but goosh amd moosh beneath one's feet---aghhhhhhhhhhhh. Good write.
