Old Pictures
Some pictures were taken in the past that I loathed at the time.
I now look at & think they’re pretty good in fact, quite sublime.
I thought they were dreadful & didn’t want to see them again.
Sometimes I even hid those pictures & let no one see them then.
But now when I look at them, I don’t think they’re too bad.
Actually, I kind of like them, have I gone completely mad?
They say time heals all wounds; does it do that for pictures too?
I guess that’s what happens; for I like them now, hated them new.
So when you have some ugly pictures put them in a safe place.
If you wait long enough you'll see an adorable unwrinkled face.

The thing that I hate about old photos is that I have had other people ask who I was in the old photos! People have thought I was maybe a sister or something like that... :~( Even my husband once asked who is that to one of my old photos from our wedding day... sigh...

Would that justify using pictures from the old days as bio pictures?
